When you launch the app for the first time you will be offer two options Get Started and Restore Wallet.

Select Get Started to start the process of creating a new wallet. The BRD app will walk you through the setup process and explain each step. The app will also show you some of the app features and offer you the opportunity to Buy some coin.
To continue with the guide click Browse first to continue setting up the wallet and be presented with 12 words, commonly known as a Seed Phrase.
BRD App 2

Write down each word in the seed phrase in the same order as they are shown using the permanent pen and paper.

It is extremely important that you keep this seed phrase safe and secure. It is needed to recover funds from a lost mobile phone or if you want to move your wallet to new mobile.

Treat that piece of paper like the cash equivalent of the wallet. Don’t show it off or keep it in a place where it can be easily discovered by others as it is all that is needed to steal your funds.

BRD App 3

The BRD wallet app will ask to confirm some of the words from the seed phrase, once completed the next step is to set up a PIN.

The PIN is a 6 digit code you need to access the wallet and send funds, if you forget the PIN you will need to recover the wallet using the seed phrase.

After setting up a PIN the wallet will sync and load the main screen, showing your new Bitcoin wallet ready to load.
